Athletic Kickstart

Get your kids started on the right path and watch their confidence sky rocket! Athletic Kickstart is an introductory strength & conditioning program tailored to developing age-specific skills for kids as young as 7 years old.

We introduce basic exercises like lunges, deadlifts and modified pull ups, and disguise other exercises like balance drills, crawling, hopping and jumping into task-driven challenges. Hydration, nutrition, and sleep are healthy foundations that we also instill.

Training for future success starts here! J4's Youth Strength & Conditioning program is the perfect stepping stone that will help prepare young teenagers for early adulthood. 

For athletes interested in pursuing higher levels of sport, this is the best quality strength & conditioning program that you will find in the Peace Country, guaranteed. Building resiliency, attention to detail, and a growth mindset are key focuses for building not just better athletes, but better people.

For non-competitive athletes, this program is equally as beneficial. Your child will learn a wide range of skills and habits that will boost their confidence in everyday life. They will have all of the knowledge they need for a smooth transition into adult life, and will always have a coach for life.

Jimmy was born and raised in Spirit River as a multi-sport athlete, achieving a wide range of accomplishments in most sports he played. After high school, he played for the Sexsmith Junior B Vipers before eventually being recruited by the University of La Verne men's golf team.

Jimmy has been a fitness professional for 12+ years, and spent several years working with the University of La Verne Sports Performance program working with 18 different sports teams including baseball, volleyball, swim & dive, and football.

Since moving back to Spirit River in 2020, Jimmy has had a passion for providing a top quality strength & conditioning experience for local youth and helping them build resilience and confidence so that they are ready to pursue their future dreams.
